My Mini Aussie seems to enjoy the Raw Duck I bought for him at Marin Raw. Not long after he received (not voluntarily) a rabies vaccine, he started itching. At first, I thought it was fleas, but nope, so because the timing was so close, I do blame it on the vaccine. I know they can disturb a dog’s immune system. I won’t go on forever, but I bought the Raw Duck because duck and rabbit, which I also am feeding my pup now, are both relatively cooling meats and cooler foods are better for dogs with allergies, which he suddenly seems to have.
Seems like good quality meat and Working out well for pup. He is still adjusting to eating raw so I’ve had to cook it slightly. Will order more soon!
My dog really loves it. This is the first food that really appeals to him and causes him to eat every bite - instead of leaving some behind. He has tried the duck, chicken, beef and pork and seems to like them all.
I appreciate how easy the chubs are to store in the freezer. And since I vary how many ounces my dog gets per day, based on the weight of the bones or fish he also gets, it helps that the chubs are also easy to portion as I need to. We'll definitely be trying these proteins in different combinations (with and without veggies, etc.)
So happy friends told me about Marin Raw.
I am so grateful to find Marin Raw! I looked everywhere for ground duck and found it so accessible and easy to buy. I just healed my Doberman from Cushings by switching to a raw diet. I plan on purchasing on a regular basis!!
